I had no luck shopping for a new sofa, and chair this weekend. I just have to keep looking!! Well, the slipcovers are back on until we find something. I had a busy weekend, but I still was able to hit a few garage sales. Before leaving the house I said to myself ...." No Garage Sales This Weekend".... If I see any signs I'm not stopping! Well, I stopped. I have to learn to control myself, but It's not easy. I always think I might miss something really good! I did control myself a little. I only bought a few things that I couldn't resist.
I just couldn't walk away from this beautiful mirror for $15.00.
I love all the beautiful details.
I also found the wire urn/basket. It was black, and I spray painted It white.That was $5.00. I could of bought a lot more, but I was trying to be a good! I'll show you soon how much better the living room looks with the slipcovers back on!!

It is always hard to furniture shop.You know what you want.The problem is finding it.
Great finds again.I am like you trying to resist the urge to thrift shop.Your weakness is garage sales.Mine is every thrift shop.And we have many around here.I have to be good in the next couple of weeks I need to stay out.If I avoid them I am alright.

Great finds and I would have scooped up the mirror for $15, along with hopping in excitement all the way back to the truck.
I would not have left those behind either...It was meant to be...At least that's what I would tell myself :-)
