You've Got Mail

Hello friends,
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! The weather here is beautiful today, and I am enjoying it for sure. I stopped at a yard sale yesterday on my way home from the grocery store. I just happened to see the sign, and of course I had to stop! I only bought one thing for three dollars. I found a mailbox of all things! I'm not sure how old it is, but i don't see many of these around anymore. I really didn't know what I would do with it. This is what I came up with!

Not looking good!!

Now this is better! I painted, glazed, and sanded it. I found the perfect spot for my old rolling pins. Perfect fit!

I needed something on this wall, and I think this is the perfect solution. It's a good place to store your recipe cards too!!

Have a great day!

That is really cool. Love the rolling pins stored there! Out where they can be seen but out of the way too. And using it for a recipe box too is just the icing on the cake! Great find and I love the way you spruced it up.

Kathy, Girl, you are amazing. Perfection. There was a similar one on our side porch when we bought the Cottage. I kept it and wanted to do something with it but didn't know what. Now I know..Eureka!! Happy Sunday..Judy

Great idea to hold your rolling pins, Kathy! It's got some nice detailing in that scallop and the front piece that looks great white.
