Garden Weathervane

Hello friends,
Hope everyone had a great weekend!! I've been trying to finish planting flowers, but the weather here has not been cooperating. It seems It rains everyday.Although yesterday was a gorgeous day. I've been working on my front garden. It's a very small area, but I want It to be filled to the brim with flowers!! It's almost done!! It's going to take some time for the flowers to grow, and we haven't had much sun. Well, I hope the weather clears soon, and summer arrives! I went to a yard sale on saturday, and found this gorgeous rooster weathervane for $5.00. It's rusty, and old just the way I like It.

I think the weathervane adds a whimsical touch to the garden. I have to spray at least once a week with liquid fence. This will be one nights dinner for the deer. I still have to fill in a few spots, but It's coming along. I'm waiting for my rose bush to bloom. They have little buds now.

It's made of heavy metal, and It's functional.

I see a bug!! It looks like a stink bug. I hate stink bugs!!!

Have a great day!

Beautiful garden and cute rusty rooster. What a deal. We may have to get some to that Liquid Fence since we have deer and a vegetable garden.

It looks pretty already, Kathy! You'll have to give us an update in a month's time so we can see how it's filled in.

Cool weathervane! What a great find, and i love the height it adds to the garden. Your flowers all look like they are ready to just burst into bloom, and so many! What a pretty little garden area, those deer better stay outta there!

Love it, looks so neat in your garden with all your pretty flowers. It's been raining here too for the past few days and I'm getting so tired of it:)

What a pretty garden, Kathy! Great job! :) I'll be buying more rose bushes for the garden along my front porch. Needs some filling in, too. :)

Your garden is lovely.

One of the best parts of gardening is looking each day to see what has bloomed.

Enjoy!

Your garden looks so pretty! I am sure it will be full and lush in no time! Speaking of stink bugs....we had them in the house this past winter! Everyday I would see at least one flying through or walking near my fireplace hearth. I read that they try to get in to keep warm when it is cold outside. Now that is warmer I have not seen one in quite a while...only outside. What a pain! Just bought my flowers today...need to get some potting soil and get going. ~Patti
