Hope everyone had a great holiday!! It's so hot and humid here today. This is the kind of day you want to just stay inside!! I think that's just what I'm going to do!! We were going to go to New York over the weekend to visit our daughter but we decided to stay home because the traffic would be crazy!! Instead we worked around the yard. I also finished painting my cabinet in the foyer. I took the leap and painted It turquiose. It's such a pretty happy summery color.It reminds me of the seashore!!
I used different size glass jars that I had and filled them with clear and teal glass gems. When the sun shines In they sparkle like the ocean!! I also painted the hardware white.
I love the color against the white beadboard wallpaper.
I glazed It just a little. I wanted to tone It down a bit. The paint color Is sherwin williams cooled blue but It's really a true turquiose.

Very pretty, Kathy! I love the way it looks against your white wall. I think we all had a bit of some hot and humid weather. I left Ohio to visit NY and just missed the heat wave here, but NY had humidity; I'm not sure which is worse!
