French Market Valance

Hello friends,
I decided It was time to make a new valance for my kitchen window. I've been looking around In different stores, but I didn't see anything that caught my eye. So, I made my own. I wanted to make a valance using my french market stencil again! I think I achieved the look I was going for.

It turned out just the way I wanted It!!

I love the French Market stencil!

I made a simple cotton valance with a two Inch header.

Then I decided I wanted three inch long box pleats. I made It four Inches with a one Inch hem.

Then I added my stencil, and grosgrain ribbon to finish It off.

Have a great day!!
