Low Fat Peach Frozen Yogurt

Hello friends,
It Is scorching hot outside!! I think we are all In the same boat. I try to do all my errands early In the morning before It gets unbearable!! The rest of the day I stay In with the air blasting. It was a good day to make some frozen yogurt. During the summer months I use my Ice cream maker a lot. I much rather make my own Ice cream or yogurt. I think It tastes so much better then store bought. Although I do get the craving for a dairy queen hot fudge sundae:) everything In moderation!!

On a hot day It hits the spot!! I made some peach ice tea too!

I can (14 ounces) peaches packed In juice
2 cups lowfat vanilla yogurt
1/3 cup sugar
(Only three Ingredients)

Drain peaches, reserving 1/2 cup of the juice. In a blender or food processor fitted with the metal blade, pulse to chop the peaches. Add the vanilla yogurt, sugar, and reserved peach juice. Process until smooth and the sugar Is dissolved about 1 minute. Turn the machine on, pour peach/yogurt mixture Into freezer bowl through Ingredient spout and let mix until thickened. About 25-30 minutes.

Put the yogurt in a airtight container and freeze for a few hours.
Makes eight 1/2 cup - servings.

Have a great day!!

Looks delicious and so refreshing. I think you have the right idea... I've been using peaches this week too, but making jam instead... not the best thing to do when it is so hot outside!
