Hope everyone Is having a great weekend, and keeping cool!! I was over at Kim's Blog looking through all the wonderful projects on Wow Us Wednesdays, and I came across this wonderful blog Top This Top That. She made a beautiful burlap wreath that I just had to try. I just followed her really easy, and great directions, and my wreath turned out pretty good. I just changed mine up a little! You can go to Top This Top That, and get the directions.
Sorry for the dark picture. This area In my kitchen gets very little light.
I found the flowers at michaels.

I had this old clock that didn't work, and It was the perfect size circle to fit behind my wreath. I just took the arms, and gear box off.
I gave It a quick coat of white spray paint. I didn't want the color to show through the burlap.
I cut a circle of burlap, and stapled It to the back.
Then I just stenciled It. I just used the middle portion of the stencil. I hung the burlap circle first, and then hung the wreath over that.
Have a great day!!

You are the stencil queen! Your wreath has such a soft pretty look. And so OOOh lala!
Now that is a beautiful wreath! Love what you did with the clock. Just fabulous!
So cleaver and cute.. makes me want to make one. Smiles, Susie
That looks so good and I am so glad you found some inspiration at my party.
Beautiful, Kathy! Love the stencil you used. I will have to check out that tutorial. I have a lot of burlap garland left over that would probably work well for the wreath.
Katy,
Love this wreath and stencil too!

Oh I just love what you have done with the burlap wreath. Glad I could provide some inspiration with the wreath. Great job.
It's adorable! You are so clever, you always come up with the most amazing things! it was so smart to use the clock like that, and of course the piece de resistance, the french script.

Love the wreathe Kate.
Thanks for sharing.
I made a burlap wreath like that last fall, but I like how yours is finished with the stenciled burlap at the back. Maybe I can add to mine when it is time to dig it out again. Thanks for the ideas.
