Pie Tin Wreath

Hello friends,
Today Is a beautiful crisp day!! I love days like today when you can wear a big old sweatshirt, and go for a long walk. And, do some fall projects too. I have a lot of old pie tins that I have found, and I thought I would try to make something with It. How about a pie tin wreath!! I know It sounds kind of strange, but I had to give It a try.

I hot glued a rust colored ribbon to the back, and It was ready to hang. It's different that's for sure!!

I started with the old pie tin, and a roll of burlap.

I cut the burlap to the width I wanted for the ruffle, and hot glued all around.

I hot glued a second row of ruffles.

I hot glued twine all the way around to give It a clean look.

Helpful hint! Keep a bowl of Ice water right next to you. Great for the burns!! I get plenty of them. That's It!

Have a great day!

Too cute!! Never would have thought to make a wreath from a pie tin!
I too am 'hot glue challenged' . When making my craft paper table runner ( check it out on my blog www.simplymedesignsbygee.blogspot.com ) It was a mess of hot glue strings everywhere. Me , the dog, the table.. hahahahaa.. But I had loads of fun making it.
Cheers, Gee
