I've been fall decorating like crazy!! I just love bringing out all my fall decorations! all the beautiful colors of fall makes me happy!! I'm dreaming of cool crisp days ahead. I couldn't wait to decorate my hutch for fall. I found a big old toolbox at the thrift shop, and that started giving me ideas for my hutch. The one that was on top of my hutch will go back up after the holidays. I gave the toolbox a good cleaning, and started painting away! A little stenciling too!!
I found an old piece of plywood that was In the garage, and decided to make a chalkboard for above the toolbox. That was a really easy project. I'm using my french market stencil. I painted, and sanded the toolbox. I went over It with yellow ochre acrylic paint to give It the aged look. They had a sale at michaels, and I bought all the fall flowers for 40% off.
I thought the crows would add some color to go with the chalkboard.( I really don't like crows) Oh Well!!
The old toolbox got a face lift!!

It's perfectly freshly fall! I prefer light fall decor over creepy Halloween any day. The crows look just fine! Your home is so bright!
