I think i finally like my bedroom! I tried the floral curtains, but i just couldn't live with them! I wanted something soft, and tranquil. I love floral, but it just wasn't working for me! I love the softness of the neutrals. I can now mix, and match. With the floral i was limited as to what i could accessorize with. Now anything goes with it.

I also painted my jewelry armoire cottage white. It was floral.

Very pretty, Kathy, so soft and tranquil and very inviting! I love the curtains, they are perfect for the neutral look you are going for. And I can't believe you got those chairs for $15.00!
I just added floral curtains to my bedroom to punch up the color a bit for the winter. I know what you mean about having a competing color or pattern, they don't match most of my duvets. Now I have to change out the curtains if I want to change the bedding. Sticking with neutrals gives us a lot of room to play.

Your bedroom is gorgeous! So serene and lovely. We had our entire house painted this past spring and I thought I wanted my/our bedroom to be blue. BIG mistake. I hate it. We were in a rush to pick out paint colors and we picked a blue that is way too bright. Oh well, our bedroom needs a total makeover anyway, so when we re-do it (bathrooms are first!), it will be in neutrals. :-) I also love your curtains. They are perfect for your bedroom.
