Make A Tiny Space Cozy

Hello friends,
My power is back, and i'm very grateful!!! My heart goes out to everyone that was in sandy's path. In the daylight hours to keep my mind busy i changed some things in my tiny foyer. It was an easy fix to change my seat covers. I had some dropcloth left from other projects that i did so i used that. I also had a table that i bought at a garage sale that needed to be painted. This small space seems cozy now for the winter months. I'll change up a few things for Christmas.

I used my old metal pitcher and filled it with branches. I wrapped
some burlap around it, and stenciled it.

The seats were covered with dropcloth, and i painted the stripes.

I wanted to add some color to the white beadboard wallpaper so i
hung a pinecone wreath tied with some burlap.

I painted the table cottage white. Behr paint from Home Depot.

                                          Thanks for stopping by!!

what a sweet little spot. my husband who is a painter can not wrap his head around the fact people are using drop cloth for material. It looks wonderful. Glad you are safe and your electric is back on.

Oh Kathy, I had no idea that you were effected by this terrible storm! We were lucky. No power outage for any length of time...just strong winds and heavy rain. Your space looks beautiful!! I just love that bench. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday, Gail

So glad to hear you have power, but it looks like you made good use of your time without. The foyer is just perfect. I would have never guessed you painted the seat covers, they look like vintage grain sacks.

I like the table in the white. So glad you have power. It is so hard without it esp. when it is cold. We have had that happen so many times but not with what you have all gone through. The East Coast has really taken a sad sad hit.

Kathy - I am so glad to hear that you made it through the storm and that you have power back. It's such an inconvenience to be without it, but isn't it amazing the things you can get done in the meantime? We were without it for 3 days last summer. Couldn't believe how motivated I was. lol!

You have created such a sweet, charming corner! I love every aspect of it!! Beautiful job!
