Roman Shades

Hello friends,
My roman shades are hung and I'm happy with the results! I usually go with a neutral, but this time I wanted some color! The shades were easy to make! I followed Richella's tutorial Imparting Grace. She did such a fabulous job on her roman shades! When I saw them on her blog I knew I wanted to give them a try. Mine are a little shorter because I need lots of sunshine In the kitchen ( If we ever get any sun).

I think I'm getting there with the farmhouse look I'm going for.

A little touch of red and white check!!

I bought the fabric at joanns. They had a red tag special on ralph lauren fabric. It's a nice heavyweight fabric. I'm loving stripes these days!!!

                                               Have a great day!!!

It looks fabulous, Kathy! Many moons ago, I owned and operated a workroom and stitched up many, many Roman shades. I like that it's still a popular look!
