Since I'm brightening up the kitchen I made a different roman shade for the kitchen window. This was an easy choice for me since I love anything botanical. Guess what I used this time around??? I curtain panel from target. 54 wide 84 long. Perfect!! I just measured, and put one inch and a half hem on each side. The length was just right. I paid $24.99 for the panel. It took me less then an hour to make. Now when I see that perfect panel at a garage sale I'm buying It!! When I go to joanns I usually get overwhelmed with so much to choose from so, this was easy.
Right now I'm using my boxwood balls until the nursery puts out the
herbs.
I painted the little tags with chalkboard paint, and numbered them.
A little helpful hint.... I didn't really like using the fabric glue for
the side hems. It makes It very stiff, and hard to straighten out. But,
If you don't sew It's a good alternative. I know the feeling! Many times
me, and my sewing machine don't get along. You can get the tutorial
Here.
Have a great day!!
